photo, finished
Tonight I went through my old laptop to clean out some files I don’t need anymore. I tried moving the contents of my iphoto library to an external drive, but in doing so I am being told that the files are unreadable. Every photo is listed as 0 pixels by 0 pixels. I can’t copy them, move them, burn them or view them in the “edit” section. I can select them, but that’s about it. I guess this means that once this computer dies all my photos will be gone. Literally every photo of every person who was ever in my life from 2003 to 2008 will cease to exist. This is pretty sad. There were a bunch of important people between those years.
If anyone can help me, or tell me why this happened I would really appreciate it.
try this: within iphoto itself, hit apple-a to select every photo in your library. then go to the file menu and select “export”. afaik, you cannot move iphoto library files by just dragging and dropping like regular folders. hope this helps.
